Infiniti Tshirts and Giveaway!
Sometimes you can’t think of anything to write. It can be a real drag, and hurt your blog in the long run if you can’t get a good post in there. So how do you come up with ideas? Well, here’s what I’ve been doing recently, and its worked out pretty well for me. I use Statcounter to count the stats on my blogs. It’s a great tool. Another is Google Analytics. Regardless of the tool you use to post though, it should have something that tracks the keywords that lead people to your site. In statcounter, it looks something like this:
You can clearly see what search terms have been used to bring people to your site. Now take a step back and look at your blog. Did people find what they were looking for? Hmm.. I do have a post on the infiniti interface system for iPod. Check. How about infiniti shirts? Nope. Hence the title of this post. You can also search for the keywords on your site using Google Analytics.
Now what can I do about this? Well I could make a shirt and put it up for sale in my spreadshirt store. Is there the popularity to do that though? I could give away a shirt too, and I’ve been thinking about doing that. However, that would be moving me further into the red as far as making money on this blog goes. However, that could also cover the giveaway that people have searched for on my blog. So how about this? If you’re interested in getting an infiniti tshirt, leave a comment on this post. If I see that the demand is there, I will pick a winner, design a custom infiniti tshirt for you with your website or blog link on it. You can then use it to do a Shoemoney like feature on your blog!
So there it is! I’ve covered two of the searches that have come to my blog. Lets see if I can generate some interest in this giveaway. I hope I have given you an idea of what to do if you can’t think of anything to write.
