Don’t Be Afraid to Try Something New

Well, some of you may have read my last post, where I tried to give a little incentive to buy some stuff this black friday.  Did it work?  Well, it worked in that my site, Joe Likes It, got some traffic out of it.  Unfortunately, no one has converted yet.  It is difficult to see nothing come out of it, but you have to look at the positives too.

• More traffic to my product information and Amazon Affiliate blog.
• I created more links, and increased my own interest in my blog.
• It was something new!

So the moral of that is not to be afraid to try something new.  Are you always going to be successful?  You never know unless you try.  That’s why I’ve started all of the blogs that I have.  It was something that I wanted to try, and I have to say that I do feel rewarded by them.  I enjoy writing on them, and that is part of what I started blogging for.  I want to be able to enjoy myself.  One of the things that I did notice was that I’ve been trying too hard to post every day on every single blog.  With as many blogs as I have, and a full time job also, that is quite difficult.  So why force myself to write crap when I can take the time to write something that I can be proud of.

Taking this weekend off did help.  I got to step back and re-evaluate the direction that I have been going in.  While money is important to me, so are my readers.  I want you to gain out of it and hopefully make it as I try to.  That being said, there are going to be some new changes on this blog in the coming weeks, and I think that you guys will like what is coming.  Remember when I said that your theme was important?  Well… I guess you’ll see when the changes are made.

That being said, is there anything that you guys would like me to write about?  I’m still looking for more blog posts to read and review… so get those in!
